
Justin Copeland
Justin Copeland enjoys representing individuals and business clients in a variety of corporate transactional matters, with an emphasis on startup companies, franchises, mergers and acquisitions, and business purchase/sales transactions. Mr. Copeland also advises clients on a broad range of business matters, including contracts, real estate transactions, employment matters, internet law, and intellectual property (copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets). Mr. Copeland also handles various corporate, civil, and real estate litigation matters.
His clients have included companies in the software, technology, energy, real estate, insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, construction, advertising & marketing, and retail sectors.
Mr. Copeland grew up in San Antonio, attending Clark High school and graduating at the top of his class. He went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management Information Systems. Before attending law school, Mr. Copeland worked as a computer programmer, web developer, and technology consultant to small businesses. He later attended law school in Washington, D.C. at the George Washington University Law School, well known for its top-ranked Intellectual Property program. There he focused his studies on Business Law and Intellectual Property, and was actively engaged in national politics. After working in politics, he returned home to Texas and started his own law firm that focuses on helping individuals and small businesses in the Austin area.
